Roy Orbison - The Last Concert CD

There isnt any of the new tracks from comeback album, just the songs that made Roy Orbison the greatest singer that he was. To many, (including myself) a dream come true, bought the whole concert the day it came out back a few years ago in 2008, and must say from start to finish, the concert is in top notch....Roy hits every note, and yes he is even better here, than on the original songs. One can also easily see why so many new fans (including myself) at the time were attracted to such a voice. Thank you to the powers that be that made this concert finally available, but as many have been stating, the whole concert isnt here, the final song which all fans know Roy closed with "Running Scared" is missing, here is hoping that someone will make that soon public for us to enjoy in its whole from start to the encore when he leaves and comes back on stage to close the show....otherwise what a sweet and absolutely perfect tribute to Roy.

Attended last concert, was the 4th time I had seen Roy's show. Magnificent, as always. He looked healthier and thinner than when I saw him at the same theatre in May of 1987. No surprises - just the world's greatest singer sounding better in person than on his recordings, if you can beleive that. The CD is just that "Roy Orbison's LAST Concert. I, too hope for a re-release that includes the LAST song from the LAST concert, "Running Scared".

This is a must for any Roy Orbison Fan, Roy was in fine performance during this historical last show. This was actually recorded in Highland Heights, Ohio-not Akron, Ohio. The theatre was not in Akron, I attended this show and it is great to have a pretty good quality recording of it. I only wish the last song, "Running Scared" was on the recording.

this is as like all his cds a brilliant cd,does the man justice,such a shame to be his last but nevertheless a great cd,and all sung beautifully as what you expect from a great singer.
